The European Union Science Olympiad (EUSO) is a team competition for EU second level school science students who are 16 years of age or younger on the December 31st prior to the competition.

The first European Union Science Olympiad (EUSO) took place in Dublin City University in 2003 and it has been held in a different EU city every year since. It is a team competition for EU second level school science students who are 16 years of age or younger on the December 31st prior to the competition. Each year two teams of three students are selected to represent DENMARK at this annual event that is held in an EU member state. DENMARK first participated in EUSO 2006.
